F.A.M.E Fashion - Runway of Dreams

F.A.M.E, Dubai’s popular talent show for people of determination, returned on stage with a fresh focus on fashion. ‘F.A.M.E Fashion – Runway of Dreams’ on Sunday, 25th June, at the Dubai World Trade Center at 6pm. The show featured 35 young people of determination (ranging from ages 8 to 36), many of whom have been part of FAME since its inception. Several new participants also joined the talent showcase for the first time.

F.A.M.E participants walked the catwalk alongside professional models, wearing collections from six international and Dubai-based designers, along with several talent acts between the catwalk segments, including drumming, dancing, and singing, and a performance by Step-Up Academy’s Dance Syndrome.

Six designers showcased their collections and design bespoke pieces for the fashion extravaganza, including:

FAME Annual Show

On 21st November, FAME held their 7th annual show with an audience of over 500 people and more than 13 different acts, including various musical performances and of the signature catwalk showcasing a unique upcycled collection by Rina Dhaka. The special theme this year, showcased through a dramatic musical act, was to highlight the existence of bullying and how it is our responsibility to speak up.

FAME Talent Hub Showcase 

12TH June 2022

After 8 weeks of learning new skills at the FAME Talent Hub, our stars took the stage and put up a private showcase for family and friends at the lovely Courtyard Playhouse on June 12th 2022. The showcase consisted of dance, music, group drum sessions and more. 

This event could not have been possible without the support of our sponsor, Gulf Islamic Investments and Step Up Academy for their excellent teachers and venue to host the Hub along with all the volunteers, families and guests who support our venture. 

Walk for Awareness

27TH March 2022

In conjunction with World Downs Syndrome Day and Autism Awareness Month, F.A.M.E., AccessAbilities, organized the Walk for Awareness, supported by Dubai Municipality, to celebrate the people of determination in the UAE. The gold sponsor for this event was Aster DM Healthcare and silver sponsor was ARASCA Medical Equipment.

This community walk took place on 27th of March at Al Safa Park and witnessed more than 300 people come together in celebration of the acceptance and diversity of people of determination. The Walk was followed by a fun picnic in the park with snacks, entertainment and music

Entertainment acts consisted of solo and group singing and dance performances from our FAME stars, Ariel on the Saxophone, Duncan on the Drums, A magician, face painting and DJBuddha on the music. We also had exciting group activities from Tender Hearts Arena and Urban Playground for everyone.
